Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Specialist to join our growing team in Barnum, IA. This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels with a strong focus on social media and content creation. This includes creating engaging video content for platforms like YouTube and social media. You will also play a key role in supporting Airstrike Ag's presence at various industry events and shows. Your passion for agriculture and technology will be instrumental in effectively communicating the value of Airstrike Ag's solutions to our target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Create engaging social media content, including text posts, images, videos, and short-form video content.
- Monitor social media channels for mentions and respond to comments and inquiries.
- Analyze social media performance and provide reports on key metrics.
- Content Creation:
- Write compelling and informative content for various marketing materials, including website articles, blog posts, case studies, brochures, and email newsletters.
- Collaborate with the sales and product teams to develop content that showcases the benefits of Airstrike Ag's aerial technology solutions.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve online visibility.
- Video Production:
- Plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content, including how-to videos for YouTube and short-form videos for social media platforms.
- Incorporate strong storytelling elements and visuals to effectively communicate key messages.
- Marketing Campaigns:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive sales.
- Track campaign performance and analyze results to optimize future campaigns.
- Website Management:
- Update and maintain the company website with fresh content and ensure it aligns with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with web developers to improve website functionality and user experience.
- Event Support:
- Assist with the planning and execution of Airstrike Ag's participation in industry events, tradeshows, and conferences.
- This may include tasks such as booth setup and tear down, engaging with attendees, distributing marketing materials, and representing the company.
- Other:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and best practices, particularly in the agriculture and technology sectors.
- Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of social media marketing and content creation best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and creating engaging video content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion for agriculture and technology.
- Willingness to travel and assist with events and tradeshows.
