Get the confidence you need to operate your spray or spreading drone like a pro this season.
This spray (and spreading) drone course has been carefully tuned and perfected over the past two years. With a mix of in-classroom materials and outdoor flight - you will walk out a better, more confident pilot. The class is hands-on with equipment and takes place at our on-farm classroom facility near Barnum, IA.
This class is for those who:
- Want to increase their knowledge of the XAG system
- Want hands-on experiences and on-farm experience with spray drone operations
- Own or are curious about purchasing a spray/spreading drone
- Want to build or refine skills in operating a spray/spreading drone
- Be safer and more efficient pilot
Objectives to learn:
- Legal regulations
- XAG drone component overview
- XAG One App instruction and practice
- XAG drone operation
- GPS/VRTK/RTK/CORS instruction
- Spray pattern testing
- Basic instruction on mapping boundaries/obstacles
- Fly different missions and situations
- Basic repairs
- Maintenance & care
