Airstrike Ag: A Year of Growth, Innovation, and Getting You Mission Ready

2025: The Year of the Drone

The 2025 season brought record rainfall in July, leaving fields untouchable and traditional spray planes overwhelmed. This excess moisture caused disease pressure to spike, creating an undeniable demand for faster, more reliable application—making it an incredible year for drones.

  • Our Impact: We sold drones/parts & training to farmers/ranchers, custom applicators and major retailers across the midwest and nation - hosting events as far as Alabama and California. In addition to sales, repair and training, our dedication to on-farm experience led us to spray over 8,000 acres with our two P150’s, focusing on demonstration, education, and product testing.
  • Our Team: A big thank you to our expert in sales/service/guidance, Joe Heatherington, and our hardworking interns, Jenna Hanson and Carter Mobley, for their dedication this summer. Recently we welcomed Jenna Hanson to our team full-time, now in charge of our warehouse and operations.
  • Our Mission: This year reinforced our commitment to the 'Mission Ready' philosophy: The Airstrike Ag Promise—we ensure every drone owner is fully trained, supported by our on-farm experience, and never left to figure it out alone. Coupled with our on-farm experience we are confident that we provided the best service in the business.

Building on the lessons and success of 2025, our focus is now on delivering the next generation of solutions in the coming year.

Ahead of the Curve: New Technology in 2026

We make it our job to stay ahead of software updates, licensing laws, and new technology. This commitment took us around the globe and across the country this fall to test the next generation of spraying drones.

XAG P150 Max (Guangzhou, China)

After visiting XAG headquarters, we confirmed the new P150 Max is a game-changer. It offers up to 20-30% more productivity than its predecessor the P150, delivering 21 gallons at 45 mph. Key features include a new 360-degree radar, beefed-up autopilot, integrated mapping, and the SRC5 remote with augmented reality, making it the most affordable, maxed-out machine on the market.

Ceres Air Black Betty Stacked (Vermont, USA)

Answering the request for US-based products, we toured Ceres Air to see their domestic manufacturing efforts. Their first product, the Black Betty Stacked (or BIG Black Betty), is a 40-gallon beast that can lift up to 397 lbs and spray at an unprecedented 45 mph. While currently 30% domestically produced, their plan is to work toward 100% US production.

Partnership Highlight:

We had the pleasure of hosting Julius Petri, Head of Product for PIX4Dfields, twice this year for different training events and time on the farm. By spending time in the field with our customers, Julius gained invaluable insights to ensure PIX4D’s products are constantly improving to meet our needs.

Prepare Now: Be "Mission Ready" for Spring

The off-season is the time for preparation. Licensing and training don’t happen overnight—the paperwork alone can take months.

If you want to be operational by spring, now is the time to move.

Give Airstrike Ag a call today. We are here to help you choose the right drone, get it configured, and ensure you are fully trained to hit the field running.

Thank you and Happy Holidays

As the season closes, the entire Airstrike team wants to express our sincere gratitude for your business, trust, and support this past year. We were especially pleased to hear about your successes this season, and most importantly, your safety in operation. Having everyone home safe for the holidays is a true blessing after such an intense year. From my family to yours, we wish you a safe, restful, and happy holiday season. Thank you for your continued trust and support.
