Jared Bunker, Vice President, Lead Tech & Head of Sales – BEAR (Branch Enterprises Advanced Robotics)

This month’s Alliance Spotlight features Jared Bunker of BEAR (Branch Enterprises Advanced Robotics), a valued member of the Airstrike Ag Alliance.
Experience Built in Agriculture
Jared grew up on his family’s farm and has spent the past 23 years as a custom applicator. His experience with agricultural spray drones goes back nearly a decade, to 2017 when he purchased his first spray drone in 2017.
That combination of agricultural experience and hands-on drone knowledge gives Jared and the BEAR team a practical understanding of what operators need from the technology they put to work.
Why Airstrike Ag?
For Jared, joining the Airstrike Ag Alliance was about strengthening the support BEAR can provide its customers.
“To better serve my customers with top-quality tech support and a robust inventory network. Airstrike also provides training, which is something we truly value.”
From Valley Farmland to Mountain Rangeland
Agriculture in the Intermountain West brings a wide range of applications and terrain. From onions grown in valley farmland to mountainous rangeland and forest, Jared sees agricultural drones as a versatile tool capable of taking on very different missions.
Some of the most rewarding moments come when farmers and ranchers share the results.
“Hearing from farmers and ranchers about the successful applications they’ve completed because drones were the right tool for the job.”
Fall is a favorite season for Jared for the same reason. It’s when BEAR takes on much of its fire rehabilitation and rangeland restoration work, unique applications and challenging conditions that put the equipment to the test.
Integrity First
At BEAR, the team operates by a simple saying: “Integrity First.”
Whether they’re completing an application or supporting a customer who purchased a drone, BEAR brings decades of custom application experience to the job. As some of the early agricultural drone applicators in the Northwest, the team continues to innovate and find the right tools for its customers’ needs.
For Jared, being Mission Ready comes down to having more than just the equipment:
“Mission Ready means having the right tools, support, and training to get the job done right.”
His advice for anyone considering adding an agricultural spray drone to their operation?
“Drones are a great tool to have. For many operations, understanding the rules and regulations associated with aerial applications—and having great dealer support—is absolutely key.”
Thank you, Jared and the entire BEAR team, for bringing experience, integrity, and technical expertise to the Airstrike Ag Alliance and the customers you serve.
